I have a virtual reality (VR) prototype I developed inspired by my Paint Nights. 

I wanted to create an extension of my Paint Night classes in VR. Just like in my in-person classes where students show up and I have everything they need, VR students just put on a headset and have everything they need to continue their painting journey. Paint Night is a VR painting environment that feels as realistic as possible, in order to teach basic painting and art skills effortlessly and without the use of resources. All artwork is saved in the students personal gallery they can visit at any time. Paint Night trademark submitted.

 

I created 3D models for the brushes, palette, apron, and gallery environment. I used C# in Unity to code the mechanics, create the game play, and design the UI. I also used Premier Pro to create and edit instructional videos users follow along with in the prototype.

I created an augmented reality (AR) experience that allows users to bring an installation from The New Children's Museum into their home. Sketch Aquarium is a digital installation at the Museum where visitors can draw their own sea creature and upload it to the interactive, digital display. I made a prototype of the installation in AR with interactive, moving bubbles to pop, drawn fish to touch and watch swim, food bags to touch and watch spin, and the Museum's mascots to move in the space and give instructions on how to interact with the objects.

For The New Children's Museum, I created Augmented Reality (AR) filters that visitors can use through Instagram and Facebook.

This is a fun way for visitors to capture their time at the different Museum installations. I used AR Spark to create these filters.
