In all projects I do, I bring a Human-Centered Design (HCD) approach. An example project below was for The New Children's Museum. I lead a team that interviewed and surveyed Museum visitors and members, as well as studied their online reviews, in order to help the Museum design creative solutions that would improve their visitor experience. Using the findings from our study, I designed an interactive game that took the Museum staff through the visitor experience.

Each staff member played a visitor persona and were given general Museum experience and specific persona experience cards they played throughout the game. The experience cards were quotes and takeaways from the research we conducted. The goal of the game was to collect visitor experience points depending on positive and negative interactions within the Museum. The player with the highest points had the best visitor experience. There were instructions, game cards, a game board, die, and player moving pawns designed for the game. We also provided a persona overview booklet and hat that represented each persona. The players could refer to their booklet and wear the hat in order to get in the spirit of their persona.

After playing the game and having a better understanding of the Museum's visitors, we lead the Museum team through a brainstorming session to ideate. The brainstorming session was a success and we helped create a timeline for the Museum to execute these improvements.
